that Ecoboost engine is fast! My goodness...I can only imagine how fast a Mustang would be if Ford had dropped that engine on it.

Yes it is a good article. GM slides, Ford innovates and the new, smaller EB engine seems great. Dodge kicks it with a v-good overall truck and excellent small diesel. MT did a good test.

I'm liking the small EB engine and warming up to the baby diesel.

I saw my first eco-diesel ram in the flesh last week.  Hopefully they have their options and pricing just right to get them moving in significant numbers so we can more on offer for the future. A diesel option just seems proper for a truck.

Numbers do not work
Would need a $55,000 truck , yes I like a nice truck
Would probably need a new cap, another $3-4 gs
If I were to get $18000, for my truck, that would leave around $7000 in the red
After taxes I would need to finance $58,000 which at 3.9% @ 84 months would be $790 per month
I have 22 months left at $500 per month until my truck is paid off
I am not going to save that much in fuel cost to cover the difference

But if I need a new truck I would look at the Ram diesel

Particularly now with gas much cheaper it wouldn't make much sense.

yeah, my opinion on it is that IF you are looking for a truck, it is for sure worth a look....

it is not, however, worth getting out of a current vehicle that works fine just for the diesel.

wait.. i'm a salesman... i mean... BUY NOW!!!!

Nice to see the Ram do so well.  I have always liked the ChryAT Ram pick-ups ever since they appeared in '93.  With the Dart and FIAT 500L not living up to expectations and the 200's luke-warm reception, ChryAT needs a vehicle that can repeat the success the 300/Charger/Magnum had upon their launch... My parents had a Dodge 440, Plymouth Valiant, and a Dodge Tradesman camper conversion when I was very young (1972 to 1977), and an Eagle 2000 GTX when I was in my late '20s, so I have a certain fondness  for Mopar..
