Sounds exciting for sure but the car is a little chubby looking for me and still has one foot stuck in the art and science misadventure. I wish they'd have let it drift closer in style the new CTS.

This is the best-looking ATS, which in turn is the best-looking of all of Cadillac's current sedans. The CTS has a nice front end but loses it with its E-Class greenhouse and nondescript rear end. I can only imagine what a blast this thing is to drive. But I'll take mine in red or bright blue please. Black V-series cars are so passe. :)
Since October 2015 the Junior PM has been in office.  Record mega-Billion deficits as he p*sses away our future.  An economy gutted. Stinky POTHEADS rejoice. We are going down the drain.

BMW sure sells a fair number of M cars with no AWD.
Define "a fair number".

SirO?  Is there a sales stat for the # of M3/M4s sold (separate from the 3-series in any other iteration)?

It's a bit difficult to get that kind of granularity. I can tell you that globally from 2007-2013, M3 (coupe, cabriolet, sedan) sales made up about 2% of overall 3 series sales (65,960 out of 3,117,087).

On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.

Throw some snows on and it would be good fun in some empty parking lots this evening with all that lovely white stuff coming down! Not that I do do such things, ahem.

Seems Cadillac is after some pretty big guns:

The new, up-to-600-horsepower ATS-V.R meets international FIA GT3 specifications, a highly coveted pedigree that allows it to potentially run in more than 30 different GT series around the world. Other marques in this ultra-competitive racing class include Aston Martin, Audi, Bentley, BMW, Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren and Porsche. The FIA is the governing body for worldwide motorsport, with the GT3 class representing a specific set of specifications for racing cars based on production models.

that is a handsome beast in my opinion.

if i was a single successful guy my age(early 30's), this would be on the top of my radar. gives off the impression of class while being a fricken rocket, easy to handle/park for toronto, has enough brand recognition/value, plus that whole "domestic" thing so your old retired clients can still respect you.

too bad i am neither successful or single... well.. not too bad about the single part.
i used to be addicted to soap, but i'm clean now
