The updated M engine now emits 567 hp and 553 lb-ft of torque compared to 555 hp and 500 lb-ft of torque in the last X5 M and X6 M, which went out of production in 2013. Both models are now capable of 0-60 mph sprints in 4.0 seconds, undoubtedly aided by the available launch control feature. Top speed is electronically limited to 155 mph. At the same time, the 2015 BMW X5 M and X6 M are now more fuel efficient, with a 20 percent improvement on the European cycle, according to the manufacturer, although EPA figures for the U.S. market have yet to be confirmed.
