ScotiaLife Insurance company, anyone?
« on: October 17, 2014, 06:13:54 pm »
i kept getting a flyer from them for a quote so i gave them a call..

2 mil  liability coverage for both me and my wife for the cars plus collision+comprehensive,  and home insurance (1 mil liability on the home plus contents) came to significantly less than what i'm paying at TD right now...

anybody with them?

Driving thrills makes my wallet lighter.. and therefore makes me faster because i'm shedding weight... :D

In Manitoba it's weird to think about getting auto insurance from a bank.

I don't care who insures me.  Switched to CAA a month ago, and saved $60 a month in premiums.

I switched over a couple of years ago from the local broker i had been dealing with since day one to a group rate plan offered through our company.  I get better coverage for about $250 less per year.  To me it was a no-brainer.  I don't think there is a significant difference is service level between most of the major players.

Switched insurance to Scotia Insurance today.

was with TD Meloche Monnex.
had multi policy discount(home/auto),
multi car discount,
alumni discount,
loyalty discount, etc.

and still i was paying 2500 a year.

Now, similar coverage except  I dropped collision on my bimmer, but was quoted for it and even with it, it was 500 less a year.

hopefully I won't have any issues with this insurance company.
