I went. The rain in the morning made for lower than usual attendance, but still a great day.
Spitfire isn't insured and the MGB never came out this summer, so I just took a normal car (Scion XB presser). My mom was going to take her MGB, which she does drive in the rain (it's her primary car), but the parents decided to just ride in with me and avoid the mud pit that bronte park becomes.
That's actually the biggest issue with this show....It is my favorite show of the season, well run and all, but that entry roads are fine gravel. On a dry day the place is a big dust bowl, and on a wet day it's a mud pit. So I am always apprehensive to bring a nice car knowing that I'll be spending the next day detailing it.
