My general conclusion is that most people who wanted the phones were savvy enough to take advantage of Apple's preorder system to avoid waiting in line. 80% of the people who waited in line were less savvy and looking to make a quick buck by selling it in Asia or other countries where the iPhone 6 is not yet available. I'm watching a bid for an iPhone 6 Plus 128GB, retail price $999 USD sold for $1415. Person made maybe $300 after tax, and it looks like the fellow preordered rather than waited in line for a phone. If one had to wait in line for 3 days, that's $4.17 an hour. Bravo...

I think some people just like standing in line and being the first to get something. It's not for me though. I'd much rather preorder online, but I admit it is kind of annoying that I ordered quite early last Friday and won't get my phone until later this week.

I did preorder. But not an iPhone. I did the new Moto X from the US. Much cooler phone, IMO, then the iPhone 6, much more functional and much cheaper too.

I used to think so too. Everything I have is apple.  But the transition to Android has been quite painless. Except for memory, the Moto X is just way more phone for a lot less money. I just can't see paying $1070 for the 6 plus with 64 gig.

It's just that Moto X is more comparable to 6 Plus than 6 in terms of display size and resolution.

$1079 is the price point for the 6 Plus 128GB. The 64GB version is $969.

I'm going for the 6 64GB myself for $859. The 6 Plus is not terrible to hold and the screen is absolutely amazing, but it's not an easy phone to use one handed say on transit.

I was including tax when I was talking about the price.

How does the back look? Cause it sure looks about the same as the last from the front.

Looking at your list of cars, I can't fathom what kind of $749-1079 car you'd want. Or is that per month?
