My general conclusion is that most people who wanted the phones were savvy enough to take advantage of Apple's preorder system to avoid waiting in line. 80% of the people who waited in line were less savvy and looking to make a quick buck by selling it in Asia or other countries where the iPhone 6 is not yet available. I'm watching a bid for an iPhone 6 Plus 128GB, retail price $999 USD sold for $1415. Person made maybe $300 after tax, and it looks like the fellow preordered rather than waited in line for a phone. If one had to wait in line for 3 days, that's $4.17 an hour. Bravo...
