Looks like it uses the Taco's V6. I love the idea, but had it been offered here, it'd be just too outdated for me to even consider*. But then again ppl buy wranglers * solid axles, leaf springs, terrible mileage...

BTW ... the Land Cruisers are still sold in the USA.So it's kind of weird they bring back a "classic" that's still being sold.

Actually, Toyota does sell Land Cruisers in Canada but I don't think they are street legal and are bought by mining companies. The U.S. Land Cruiser is the 200 series model.The Land Rover 70 is still sold in places like Australia. The article refers to the fact that there are offering it again in Japan after it was discontinued there in 2004.
