Fixer, pull your head in. That comment to rrocket was out of line.
Your incessant snipes at Toyota are borderline already, add personal attacks to the mix and you'll cop a ban.

Oh crap...I was sleeping and missed it.  What did he say?

I'm pretty thick skinned.  People knowing me...would I have really been upset?
I also missed it!!!  Re-post ;D?!

Please explain dealer experience. You get it from Forbes or Heffner?

Forbes Waterloo Toyota.

It's a long and painful story which I don't really want to get relive.  Essentially it arrived 3 months late (5 months after we ordered it!), we were told that we could have our deposit back and go buy something else if we have a problem with the constantly changing build/delivery dates, and on delivery day, we received an email saying, "by the way, the price has changed over the past 5 months so you'll owe us 'x' more dollars/month".  This drove me over the edge...you put us out for 3 months and then have the gull to say that as a result we owe more money?!  I called them on this bait-n-switch and they quickly folded.

By the end of the experience, we had dealt with most of the sales staff and managers.  Hilariously, we received a letter from the manager at Forbes last week indicating that we would be receiving a survey from Toyota regarding our experience and they would appreciate getting a good review.  It was clearly a form letter.  It would have been nice for them to acknowledge their many f-ups with a personal letter, but no, just the standard letter and...wait for it...a zip-lock bag with a few mints in it to "show their appreciation". Really?!  mints!?  So tacky.

We will not be going back to Forbes and will be having it serviced elsewhere.
