I have had 3 vacuums in my home-cleaning life. I have had a Dyson (corded upright) for 7 years. It is by far the best vacuum I've ever used.
Since October 2015 the Junior PM has been in office.  Record mega-Billion deficits as he p*sses away our future.  An economy gutted. Stinky POTHEADS rejoice. We are going down the drain.

I have a Dyson canister vacuum for the house.  Works very well after 3 years of weekly use.  Of course, I didn't pay full price or even close to full price.  If I was paying full retail, I would look elsewhere.

:iagree:  I have the canister as well.  Now in it's 6th year.  It was a house warming gift.  With a dog and two cats, 2 kids, and the parents, it does well.  Had a problem with a tear in the hose, Dyson sent me one free via courier.  Use it much less now, as hair doesn't stick to tile and laminate.  Only have carpet in the basement now..

There are quite a few things that I don't like cordless, and vacuums is one of them (speakers, and my desktop internet connection are some others).  I use my neighbours very small shop vac that is quite portable due to the size.  Gets rid of the grass in the Odyssey nicely.

The good folk at Dyson have told us we can keep this one. And we have decided to pay it forward.
Please let us know if you'd like it. We'll figure out a way to decide who gets it.

I would LOVE it to clean up after good ol' Riff Raff...he just does not like travelling in cars and so he leaves half his fur behind.

...so I'd like to be considered for it, and I'd definitely come pick it up at a Burger's Priest meeting ;D

Umm my Odyssey gets quite messy after a week of cutting lawns.  Sometimes on weekends, it transforms to passenger mode.  And I need to vacuum the grass, and dust.  So I often use neighbors shop vac, or my canister dyson (when my wife isn't home).  Going cordless would be awesome!

Clearly you haven't met Lady Noto.  Her prince does NOT ride in a carrier.  Ever.

...and if he does, we'll need a wet/dry handvac since Riff Raff always pees in carriers (he thinks it's a litterbox, not a mode of transportation).

In the rear of the Corolla, we have 2 childseats for my nephews...who are somewhat very allergic to cat fur.  I transport the kitty every time I go to Ithaca, so I have to clean the Corolla's interior rather often - that Dyson would make my SIL a very, very happy (albeit always cranky) woman.

No skill testing question?
The answer is always 42.

Solstice was quick on the draw, so he wins this one.
Well done bud. It might take a week to get out to you.
We have to pick up one of the attachments we left in a press car before we send it....

    AWESOME!! I attribute the quick on the draw, to being alone! Wife and kids went to the beach with the cousins.  I am just about to a couple of lawns before it hits 40C outside.
