Nice !

How's Norm doing btw?
He and 5 Wheel Drive and wing were out last night at CMP.  Threw him the keys to the TT and he even brought it back in one piece. Actually, *no one* gets to drive my car on the track except for me so you can tell what esteem I hold his driving abilities in.

The TT is great around the track!  My first time in an Audi and AWD and I was comfortable right away - great shifter and easy to heel and toe.  Very well balanced and so easy to turn in with the throttle.
Don't fight it.  The sooner you get it the better.

So embarrassed!  :shuffle:  Thanks Norm!

Yup. Trust.  But anybody who has seen Norm drive (as you have) would understand.

I'm next scheduled for August 8.  September 14 after that.  There is no Saturday 27 July.  You foolin' with my head?  Is this a 1morelap.ca event?

Let me know when you're going to be out and I might hang.  I know it sounds like heresy, but I don't track every weekend.  I have a couple of other important things on my plate this summer.  LOL.

Thank you.  It's so beautiful around here (NW Arkansas) that it almost hurts.  If that makes any sense.

Heading back to Ottawa today with my son.  The open road beckons.

Crazy. I don't know of anybody who's been there and yesterday a vendor and his wife just returned from a road trip where Arkansas was their destination and today, you. BTW, he went on at some length about its rural beauty and how nice the people are despite their meagre financial resources (again, rurally).

"Down to earth" is such an over-worked phrase but fits very much with the Arkansans that I've met.  We went to the Crystal Bridges Museum, Eureka Springs, the Ozarks Aviation Museum and Devil's Den State Park.  Beautiful state.  Glad my daughter lives here, though that took a while to settle in!

Back now.  No need to speed with all those 70 mph speed limits through the Mid West.

Last track day, 8 August, my car's clutch slave cylinder let go a couple of days before and I had to be flat-bedded to my indy. Scratch that track day. Yesterday night (Thursday), my car had a sudden an incessant misfire at high revs and under load. I thought another track day was going to be toast. I have only two others including Sunday's scheduled this season. I brought my car in to the indy and told him that maybe one of the just-replaced coilpacks might've packed it in (pardon the pun...). He replaced it under warranty just in case, but 4 new NGK Iridium plugs Part # BKR7EIX later, and I'm back in business.

Serious withdrawal symptoms here! And I'm not talking about my bank account. <running away now....>

I run the exact same spark plugs in my 300ZX.  Work well especially since they are a colder plug.
