Cove Sanchez

did is my dirt jumper.   it was built on the cheap.  frame found on kijiji and most parts are used left over or friends that were willing to sell.

In the winter we hit up Joyride 150 - an indoor bike park in Markham.

Globe (owned by Specialized)

this is the groceries getter.   Another single speed which i use for in town cruising / groceries.
the platform can take 25lbs and fits a case of 24 or two 6 packs with room to spare.

Niner Air 9

Starting to really show it's age.  This was the first 29er I've had.
the platform pedals will be removed (that's how I ride it in the winter)

The main ride.

Niner Jet 9

I went a little silly and built this one not only part by part, but I got really specific.
it's a wicked awesome ride.  While the rigid Air is lots of you too, this one is a ride anywhere bike.

Cool collection  I like it how you've left room for both a cyclocross and a road bike in it.  ;)

Good idea for a thread. Should we get it moved to the two wheel section  :rofl2:

I'll have to use some stock images, really need to get some real pics of our bikes.

1. The Mrs - Devinci Apex - Mods: Flat handlebar, 30/42 crank and 11-32 cassette. When we bought her that bike there were no real performance hybrids so we modded up a road bike to become one.

Action shot: Riding on the Cabot Trail.

2. My Commuter - Cannondale CaadX  - Mods: Rear rack and panniers.

Action shot: Starting my London - Toronto ride after riding Hamilton - London. Just went to visit for the night and camped in my parents back yard.

3. My Road bike - BMC Racemaster SLX01 - Mods: Better wheels

Action shot - Selfie while climbing Whiteface Mountain. Stopped on the way back down, set the camera on the ground, hit the timer and jumped on my bike.

Bonus - Jamis Dakota XC - My last mountain bike which I loved but sold it due our 2 bikes/person limit.

Shamless Quadzilla shot

So, it's okay to hang bikes from the big hooks, like Snowy does?  It doesn't mess with the trueness/roundness of the tire, due to bike weight?   ???  My new place has a shed with those hooks; it would be great if I could use them and not worry.

No need to worry Brigitte. The bike weight is far less than the rider weight.  ;)

no worries!
although some have debated it's not great for hydrolic brakes.
aside from that, nothing to be concerned about.   Many bikes shops hang bikes like this too.

Some really nice bikes here

Great looking bike.  Just curious about the benefits of the compact rear triangle (I mean the short chain and seat stays), is it so as to improve both acceleration and rigidity/power transfer? BMCs always strike a bit left field (in a good way) and I'm sure there are good reasons for their design traits.

Cool!  Good to know.  And yes, now that you mention it, I am remembering that bike shops do hang them the same way.

Let me see if I can dig mine out of the shed....they are right behind a table saw, some truck tires, various Jeep parts and some impenetrable cobwebs  ;D
Lighten up Francis.....
