My neighbour recently bought a Nissan Leaf, I drive a Smart Electric Drive, and routinely see Volt and Tesla.
I once saw an iMiEV driving.

I live/work in the GTA (near Toronto).

There's a white Tesla that I often see on my morning commute. I *think* its the same one...

I've seen quite a few leafs and a couple Misubishis and Teslas. I think of the Volt as more of a hybrid but since it's on the list I see more and more all the time.

Some guy was at the dealership this week with a Telsa. Sharp looking car. Was behind a Volt yesterday on my way home from work. Was wondering to myself if they still made those. That is only the second one I have ever seen. I'm not even sure if there was at the Edmonton car show last week-end.

Saw a BMW i3 being thrashed, presumably on a test drive (I pass right by the dealer on the way home). Didn't realize they were available in Canada, but I just went to the local dealer website, and there it was, for $45K!

None regularly. I think I've only ever seen one Volt in the wild, can't recall ever seeing any others from the list. However, I don't think I'd be able to differentiate a smart electric vs a regular one in passing.

There seems to be a handful of Volts and at least a couple of Leafs around town.

No exhaust pipes. :-)
A plug symbol on each side of the car in the symbol of ED as in the photo below.
And the back has "electric drive" raised chrome text on back tail gate.

I do see a Prius taxi once in a while, else it is all pickup trucks and eighteen-wheelers.
I don't think I would do well in an electric car, commuting 50km each way in -30 temperatures.

There's a company that's bringing in pre-owned Nissan Leaf's, so I've recently starting seeing a few of them around.

Where's the voting option for "none"? I see the occasional hybrid but I don't recall ever seeing a full 'electric'. That may well have to do with NB not offering any rebates.

Saw my first (and only) Tesla while driving in the States last month. And I think I saw a Volt somewhere, sometime, but can't remember any details, so I might just be imagining that one.

I see several Leafs and Model S's a week. Volt maybe a once every couple of weeks. I've noticed the Focus Electric and Fiskers a few times. I think I've only seen a non government or company iMiev just once.

The Fisker is not particularly attractive, not like the Model S. A bit of a super car style but not for me.

Added the option.

The rebate was a small part of the purchasing process for me, as the Smart ED was $25.5K without the rebate, and I would still have bought it! Frankly, Ontario will get back $2000 of the rebate in electricity costs over the lifetime of the car, and I will be charging off-peak hours, which uses up some of the excess nuclear available in the overnight period.

Sorry about that. I'm leaving it on as most of the owners I talk to in forums/etc drive almost exclusively on battery. The other hybrids kick the gas engine on for heat in the winter and when the accelerator is pushed harder...I test drove the Volt and was very impressed, just more car than I needed. As for the Ford Hybrids with their 30KM EV range, they are interesting, but certainly are not providing the EV experience the Volt or a pure EV does...

I see Teslas a couple of times a week and Leafs but the latter mostly downtown. I'm yet to see an i3.

Here in Ottawa, I've only seen a Volt once and a Tesla S at least a dozen times. Also see a Tesla Roadster at auto-cross events.

I see volts in carp and Kanata all the time. Same with the leaf. Probably the same two though
