I like the subtle changes to the nose. I find they make it look more fluid.

I was just walking by one of the previous gen this morning, thinking 'that's still a good looking car'. This refresh is a bit awkward, IMO.

I don't like the  narrow top slot in the grille.  Otherwise, its still a good looking car.
Quality is never an accident; it is always the result of high intention, sincere effort, intelligent direction, and skillful execution; it represents the wise choice of many alternatives.

Agreed. I walk by one every day and think that GM did a great job.  This re-do is a step backwards.

That bottom grille with its new tapers looks like it's upside down. I prefer the original Cruze.

At least they didn't change the rear and side look.

I think the Cruze had a good overall shape and proportions from the get go and that it fundamentally looks good. My least favourite detail was the tail lights which didn't get fixed. I'm indifferent to the new grill...find it slightly more hum drum if anything. I don't think all auto makers should have jumped on to the corporate grill band wagon. We expect that from the likes of BMW, but GM has had...freelancing forever and it has allowed for some distinct looks between models.

Buick has done a nice job with the corporate snout, Kia, Mercedes and Audi too.

VW not so much and I think Toyota and Lexus are struggling with their setup - not with making them look similar but making all models look good and like it belongs.

Does Porsche even have a corporate grill? Corporate headlights maybe...

Not much has changed . It  definately is a mild update. The average person wouldn't be able to see a difference with a quick glance.

You'd have to be a serious Cruze fan to notice anything had changed.

Did nothing much for me. Where's the SS? Why is this taking so long, its just raiding existing parts bins!

I complain about that too.  Truth is the bigger the company the harder it is to do what should be a simple change.   It would only take a couple engineers a long weekend to add the 2.0 turbo and change the specs on the suspension, steering etc.   It would then take a year or two and hundreds of millions for the managers and planners to sit in meeting and debate it while creating paperwork and overhead.
