Doubt he'd dry at my funeral.

We wouldn't cry at your funeral either because of all the funny stories being told.  :)

Decided to stay on the tools  :) working 90% from home with no pressure and people reporting to me is not worth the extra money. Besides,.... my cycling would suffer  ;D

This week I've got an MX-5 (GS 6MT) on loan from Mazda, so today I put in a solid 6 hours behind the wheel down some of Ontario's best back roads.

That's awesome, will there be a review?  If not, some pics would be cool, and the roads.  I like the GS, but wish that leather seats was an option in this trim.  I remember in 2012, this package could be added to the GX:

An SV Package can be added to the GX that adds 17-inch gun metal alloy wheels, automatic air conditioning, Velocity Red Mica exterior, Brilliant Black power-retractable hardtop, mirrors and roll bar trim, black leather-trimmed seats with sand stitching, leather-wrapped steering wheel with piano black and sand trim, piano black decoration panel, alloy pedals, external temperature gauge and trip computer.

With that stormy blue... :lick:

Not too crazy about the lack of colors last couple of years...

I'll leave the review to the guys who write for the site. I drive dozens of competitive vehicles every year, some for official evaluation, some through contacts for my own enjoyment/curiosity satisfaction. Since I work for an OEM I tend to keep my opinions of competitors' vehicles to myself. It's no great secret that the MX-5 is a ton of fun, though. 450 km in the saddle today and I enjoyed every one of them.

^^ I need a job like that.  Can't rent an MX-5, wanted to go away for our anniversary in one.  Booked a Camaro convertible, situation changed, had to cancel.  Wasn't upset.  If it was the MX-5 I would have been upset!

congrats!

feeling good after playing hockey last night... too bad our team is so bad! well.. not as bad as the 5-1 score would show... should have been a one-two goal difference.
