learning wife's operation was the best case scenario, she has no cast and it should be a pretty quick road to recovery!

Taking grandson to Legoland next week!
I might not ever want to leave, nevermind him.

Rarely, but sometimes (opening day, maybe some yanks or bo sox games, etc).   Rogers Centre is an eye-sore and has way too big a capacity for an MLB team.   Would be awesome to knock it over and build a nicer, open air, 30,000 seat stadium in it's place.

Something like this:

Hard to fund such a project obviously...

Maybe the Rogers Centre isn't the most visually appealing building.  But it is rather unique.  Football & Baseball, retractable roof, decent seating capacity.  Not into baseball or football, so rarely go there.  No been to the hotel rooms.  It's only 25 years old, hardly think they will tearing that down anytime soon.

Agreed, I always have a great time at that venue regardless of the event.

Funny nobody was complaining about the Skydome in the early 90's when it was sold out everynight , avg was amost 51,000 a game, over 4 million came out
Get a winning team ,everyone will be happy

^ Even when they were #1 in their division, with games against the Yankees they weren't sold out (this season).  55,000 people from the GTA to go sit in uncomfortable seats, is asking too much I guess.  In the early 90's it was something new to do.

But most people were waiting for the bottom to drop out, which did happen,
It takes more then a 10 game winning streak to make a winner

Last month I took the three kids to a Saturday afternoon game (mom was working). We sat near first base in the lower level. It was their first game and everyone seemed to have a good time. I was actually surprised we lasted the whole game!

After the game on to the train museum across the street...
I love it when a plan comes together.

Being a sh!tty team never seems to hurt attendance at the Leaf's games even when they had the old Garden.

People in Toronto are stupid about the Leafs, you can not compare the two
