It seems to me that the most important thing is to have all your policies in the same place.
For years, we had our home policy with one broker, auto with another (because of that teacher thing), and our motorcycles with a third (because the auto broker doesn't do motorcycles and I never thought to ask the home guy.)
So this year I finally clued in and switched the bikes over to our home insurance broker for a savings of 50% over the stand-alone bike policy. I'm tempted to switch the car insurance, too, but Morgex has been good to us and offers some policy features that the other guy can't exactly match.
