Yesterday I called the sales manager at the local Kia Dealer which happen to be a Platinum dealership inquiring about the EV. He called me back today with good news, they have been selected as one of the 11 Canadian dealers authorized to sell the Soul EV and I am at the top of their list! No obligation on my part but when the first one comes in I can buy it or pass. This should happen by the end of the year, October-December. To be followed...
These are the actual colours we will get in Canada for the Soul EV. Available in October in Montréal, Toronto and Vancouver only. What do you think of the first one, Black cherry and red?
$35K for the base version and $38K for a trim equivalent to the SX. Minus the Quebec $8k subsidy.

Driving range won't suffer much in summer time, A/C draw less power from the HV voltage battery, compared to resistance heating element, even if the optional heat pump is selected.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lS7RrHKY4iI [Soul EV] All-electric Kia Soul EV test drive in Seoul
