Do you realize that in about 30 (updated as requested) years, we'll have millions of old ladies running around with tattoos?

They've changed the feel of the electric power steering and I don't know if I'm a fan ( yet).

As with all things, I'm sure there's an ECU tune for that.

Seems to have less feel and it's a bit more artificially weighted. It's not objectionable but definitely different.

Different brand/model (Dunlop vs. Continental) but same size.

Probably EPS software:

I have been doing some digging and while the A6 I test drove didn't exhibit any issues its giving me some pause.

The Q5 DOES look great in Black but for me, just too much work to keep it clean.

I see you are not using the Audi roof rack bars that come with the car...because of the bike rack?   I guess that aftermarket bars also don't have the magnet that alters the stab system.

Re TPMS, a $350 option.   On a 2014, VAG-COM ( VCDS now) can turn it on. Takes a few minutes to do as you have to turn on in three places in the coding.  I turned mine on.

Might be an issue with 2013 and earlier model year vehicles (ours is a 2014), though our 2012 was absolutely fine.  We've gotten used to it, but peoples' description of some on-centre vagueness and a little bit of dis-connectedness pretty much echoes our observations.  I wouldn't be surprised if there will be a line item on our next service invoice showing that a software update has been installed per a TSB.

So we wasted our money.  ;)

We ported over our Thule bike racks from our Mazda3 by changing the foot packs and leave them permanently assembled when we take them off the vehicle.  The factory bars we use for our roof-top box.  Nice and convenient not having to change out bike racks for roof-top box and vice versa!  And you're right, the aftermarket Thule system doesn't have the magnet.
