Even if you have mediocre luck with your torque wrench, being a "Maximum" branded one, you can return for a new one.  My first one crapped itself, walked in to the service desk and they immediately got me a new one.  Easy peasy.

Happened to me just a few weeks ago.  The 1/2" Maximum torque wrench that i bought a couple of years ago crapped out when I was putting on my wife's winter tires this year.  I returned that and a broken 1/2 to 3/8" reducer and left the store less than 5 min later with new ones.

Wife was at CT this morning. I asked her to pick this up  MASTERCRAFT MAXIMUM 1/2" DRIVE breaker bar $9.69 75% off.

Thinking of Maximum torque wrench 60% off $53.99. Any Good ?

I have the 1/4" and 1/2" torque wrenches.  They come with a cal certificate and they've served me well. Thats a great deal, I picked mine up in a combo pack for ~$110.

Sent from my Galaxy S3

Good to hear. Will have to do a stop over for the 1/2" on the way home. Never seen the combo pack but sounds great.

If I didn't already have some I'd have bought the Mastercraft torque wrenches.     I did buy this http://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/mastercraft-21-piece-3-8-in-bitset-0587374p.html#.VHeE8DHF-90  and a battery powered LED light.  I also stocked up on 20 liters of Castrol synthetic, including some Euro formula, at half price.

Oh yeah, since this is a "what did you do to your car today?" thread... I installed a set of IG51 Yokos, 255-55R18xl, they look pretty good.

Got the truck up to operating temperature.

I had just been using it for short trips over the last few weeks.  The battery was getting pretty week so I took it on a longer errand.

I'll probably throw a trickle charger on it this weekend.  Any harm in doing that in sub zero temperatures?

No harm in using a good trickle charger or battery maintainer (there is a difference) in sub-zero temps. Not getting up to operating temperature isn't good though, especially when it's freezing out. Creates lots of condensation in the engine. I try to avoid short runs when I can in the winter, I also hate the start/stop required when moving cars in the driveway, so I usually give them time to warm up or take them for a drive whenever I need to move them.

Does your truck have an always on 12V plug?

I rarely drove the titan so my battery kept dieing.  So I bought a solar panel charger at princess auto.  Just leave it in the window and it will keep it up.

Its such low voltage it won't charge but will maintain.

Not sure, I'll check.

The issue is that my morning routine involves three starts in the span of 3 km of driving.

I figure each start drains more than can be recharged by in that time frame.

The solar maintainer is a good idea. When I used to keep my truck in one of those plastic shelters at my grandmothers place I used this one on the dash - enough light came through the plastic shelter to for the panel to work and keep the battery charged. This one has a built in charge controler, so you never have to worry about overcharging either.

IIRC your truck is an old F-150,I bet the 12V outlet is always live in that.

And you're right, 3 starts in 3kms will drain more than is put into the battery in most situations. Colder weather slows the charging process, plus you're also probably running stuff that adds more strain - blower motor, wipers, light, defrost, etc

And Bob Marley's Legend in the CD Player. The kids LOVE "Get up, Stand up".

A quick google search suggests that indeed, the 12V port is always on. Easy enough to test, anyway.

The VW dealer near my old place used to have to keep one of these in each vehicle on the lot or they wouldn't start :D:D

Interesting.  I also put one of those on my VW when I go away on vacation and don't drive the dub for a couple weeks.

$230 for a windshield and mouldings....not too shabby. The Mitsu is going to be about $270...again...not bad. I expect this to be good till maybe August.

Do you out-west folks have to replace windshields  annually?

I noticed most windshields had cracks over there

Once a year for me on anything I drive on a mainly daily basis especially in the spring when all the gravel thaws and starts rolling around. Yellowhead Trail in our city is horrid for windshields.

Pretty much. Or live with cracks.
