Santa Fe = New Mexico, USA
Tucson = Arizona, USA

Hyundai Santa Fe = Best looking SUV, second to none.

Right.  So, American, not Mexican.

Definitely looks like a very nice ride! I too however share the conern about the engine. I mean 290HP and 250ft/lbs of torque? Doesn't sound very impressive at all for a V6. Especially when when there are some boosted 4s making close to that. The weight being under 4,000lbs though is impressive I think - especially given all the standard kit - I suspect we'll see more manfs trying to cut weight to improve fuel economy.

My only real beef with this thing is the size. 215mm longer? really!? That's IT?! what is that - 8.5 inches? That'd be great if we were talking about penis size but to offer a whole new line of vehicle for 8.5 inches is ridiculous - and it sounds like you clearly can't fit much more than the standard version (obviously considering again you're only gaining 8.5 inches!) I was hoping it would be more like the Traverse/Acadia/Enclave line where there's still a decent sized cargo area when the 3rd row is in use.
My other Honda is an MP4-31!

Yes. And that's why I suggest they should make it with 5 seats and decent trunk space. I drove a Sorento with the 3.5 V6 and it had all the power I'd ever need. I did full throttle on the highway. Great ,smooth, engine with a nice growl. Maybe this 3.3 will be even more refined, as it;s shared with the Azera. I don't think any I4 can match it.

The size of the car is horrible.  If the 3rd row is smaller than the 3rd row of a Honda Pilot, we can forget it.  When you compare to the Pathfinder, at least it have an intelligent seat so car seater don't need to be remove to access the 3rd row (same as in the JX).

I guess this won't be a big people mover.  Need to stick to minivans.

So if you were a teacher, you would have taught that is is a huge city?  ;)

This is the truth.  If you really need to move people and want the most comfort, you won't beat a minivan.  Even a Suburban's 3rd row seats are crap.  Years ago, my dad was going to buy a Suburban for camping, but realized it wasn't all that comfortable for seating.  He ended up buying a full-size GMC Vandura Conversion Van (converted by Vantage Vans).  He still has the van to this day.  It tows well, drives well, and most of all can seat 7 adults with ease & tons of comfort.
