Volkswagen Introduces a Sportier Beetle - The GSR

Forty years ago, the sportiest version of the classic Volkswagen Beetle made its debut. Called the GSR (Gelb Schwarzer Renner or 'Yellow Black Racer'), the vehicle was based on a 1303S and was instantly recognizable by its color scheme.

If VW would just stop pissing about and get the Golf and GTI Mk VII over to NA it would be a GOOD THING.

Not a GTI, but a GLI.  It is based on the Jetta now, not the Golf
