Ford Motor Company today announced a voluntary safety recall of 2013 Ford Escape SE and SEL models equipped with the 1.6-liter engine and 2013 Ford Fusion SE and SEL models equipped with the 1.6-liter engine.

Good on Ford for voluntarily making the recall.  It's good to see that they are addressing the issue before it gets out of control.  Especially good that they will provide vehicles for people to use until they resolve the issue.  This certainly is not the Ford of the Pinto era.
