Bombardier employees are fine...the explosion was at a BRP plant in Valcourt.

For clarity Bombardier and BRP are separate companies. Bombardier spun out the motorsports division (ski-soo, sea-doo, etc) years ago and it's now called BRP. I'm pretty sure that they are unaffiliated and ownership is completely separate. If I'm wrong (which I doubt) then I apologize.

In 2003, Bombardier Inc. sold its Recreational Products Division to a group of investors: Bain Capital (50%), Bombardier Family (35%) and Caisse de Dépôt & Placements du Québec (15%).

Sad news, BRP make great products. In the last 10 years others have been playing catch up when it comes to snowmobiles and ATV's

Well it depends how you look at it.  4 stroke technology for sleds?  Nope......  Sport ATVs?  Nope.....

Injected 2 strokes?  Yep.  Utility ATVs?  Yep....
