^^All weather useability?   ;)

Who needs that in a sports car?!?!?!?

Sent from my Galaxy S3

Clearly you've never experienced the joy, fun, sh*it eating grin of driving a high perf AWD car in foul/wet/snowy weather.

It sucked balls to have to park the Supra all winter.
How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

Only the GT-R comes close to the Z-06 and has AWD.  No one else sells anything even remotely close in terms of price.  Porsche AWD Cayman?  Nope.

A base Z-06 and an STi actually doesn't cost much more than a GT-R...

I've watched this video like 10 times today, lol. Makes me so horny!

I can't even believe you're bringing up all weather as a discussion point with the Z.

That's because you've never owned a 640HP car that could crush all comers....and have to park it every winter.

I have.  And just like my Supra, the Z06 would have to be parked all winter.  And that sucks more than you'll ever understand.

So at least one of us is talking from experience in this discussion.....

I'm sure it sucks. But if I have the cheddah to buy a 100K car I have contingencies for the winter.

I had contingencies too.  And sadly, it doesn't make up for it.

Don't confuse my argument.  The Z06 is off the hook.  I'd just be pissed I didn't get a GT-R/911 TT every time the weather was the least bit sour.

Even your TL is a good argument.  There are many cars better in the dry.  But they suck in the foul conditions.  Which is part of what makes the TL such an incredible car.  You end up with a fantastic car that can be used pretty much year round.

I wouldn't mind parking it for the winter.  I am so busy in the winter I'd barely have time to drive it anyway.

Indeed, the TL is awesome in winter and is a very good all year proposition. But, I did not approach that purchase as I would a sports car. I reckon if I were to spend any decent cheddar on a dedicated sports car I would not drive it in winter.

That's just me though and I understand your position.

Im with you, I would feel bad for the thing.

Come here to the land of nothing to do in the winter and you'll see my side of the argument in a hurry!   ;D

Maybe our winters are different than in central Canada.  No way I'd even drive an AWD performance car in the winter around here.  The "sand" used on the roads is more akin to "gravel with boulders mixed in."  Whatever you drive is constantly bombarded by crap thrown by other cars, and worse, by the plethora of large trucks.  A b-train gravel truck throws golf ball sized rocks with frightening accuracy.

Oh yeah. There are roads I have to avoid in the summer in the Miata thanks to giant potholes and broken pavement. The government balanced the budget for so many years by letting our infrastructure go to hell and now we have large stretches of roads that can only be used by high clearance vehicles.

I'd love a 911TT AWD but even that would be parked in the winter here. Those low slung cars get destroyed in no time. There was a guy in our office building that drove his 911 C4 all year. At just four years old it looked like it was 15.

It sucked balls to have to park the Supra all winter.

Only 'cos you drive like a pu$$y.

Choosing a car based on reliability is like choosing a wife based solely because she is punctual. There is more to it than that...

I remember it differently that day we had the GTG.

I was in a sedan...you in a coupe.  And you couldn't keep up.

Oh, and BTW...I was on Hercules tires that day.

Who drives like a pu$$y, again?   :stick:   :rofl2:

Test mule spotted.

Long speculated to be the top-dog Vette now that the Z06 is so crazy. Plus, they've essentially reached the pinnacle of performance for a front engine RWD car. Also, this helps the racing program.

The ZORA is happening!
