I am going to see if my sister in law can pick us up, then I could have Enterprise get me the day we need the car.  However, if the logistics don't make any sense I'll go the Costco route.

well, if you are coming to calgary, and your sister in law doesn't work out, let me know and i'll see if i can pick you guys up and drop you off at enterprise somewhere OTHER than airport.

A pal of mine invited me over to see the shop he's building. Quite a shop...40x60 with 16 foot walls and floor heat. Today was roofing day.

We finally have cleaned out the 2 car attached garage... oh man is it nice to park both cars inside... I'm looking forward to snowblowing the driveway without having to worry about the cars (though I'm not looking forward to the snow itself)

I went to another pal's place to get an update on his car (69 Super Bee). The engine and transmission are at the engine shop being substantially rebuilt. He says he's chasing horsepower but wants it streetable and able to burn regular gas. The car has matching serial numbers so he's willing to put a little more into the car. The body is pretty good but does need some work. Apparently the paint job will be $15k. While the car is pretty good, it's amazing how much work these things are...so many fussy mini-projects. Labour of love I guess.

That's a great looking car!  Dodge muscle cars of that era rule imo.  Hopefully he's also pals with the dude building the garage with the heated flooring.    A friend of mine put heated flooring in the large detached garage he built years ago and said it was a smart decision.
