Didn't catch him. I was running barefoot.

In retrospect I should have gone out the back door and surprised him.  Scared the :censor: out of him though.

Had I caught him, not sure what I would have done.

The only reason I offer this advice is an identical situation happened to a friend. Surprised a thief trying to get in his garage. He escaped, but left his bike behind. The thief called the police on my friend and said that he stole his bike! It became a sticky situation for my friend. He obviously had no evidence of the attempted break in and nothing was missing. But he DID have the guy's bike. It became a finger pointing match and he was lucky not to be charged.

Took my wife to the doctor today to have her staples removed. Too bad it couldn't wait a week, would have made for a good Halloween costume.
