You rode more distance and time than me. Awesome job.  Now you just need to expand your riding circle.  :P

My window to go for a ride is typically 2-3 hours so my circle is small  :P

I'd recommend an Autos.ca cycling meet, but we're split pretty evenly between road and mountain bikes... We could split the route in half, but I suspect the roadies wouldn't last too long in Glen Major  :rofl2:

^^^ Looking good.

So this morning I'm on my bike, slowing down at a bottom of a hill, when a sparrow flies out of the woods, fluttering on my trajectory and hitting itself right into my right-hand brake lever. I was doing +30kph, so needless to say that the bird was killed instantly, evidenced by the brown excrement on my fingers. That was a weird incident that was over in a split second. What are the odds of that happening, huh.

Maybe I haven't been paying enough attention, but it looks like someone took a saw to the Snowman!  Of course, even recreating he still has the "yeah, I'm only smiling a little bit, and it's only on the outside" look...

 ;D

^^^^ That's cool.

Quote
Chris Froome won the Tour de France in 2013, but this year, instead of flying from the UK to France like everybody else, he went 250 feet under the sea crossing the Channel Tunnel at an average speed of 40 mph.

That is impressive.

Did an incredible 90KM ride on Saturday with two friends that started/ended in Creemore. Weather was sunny, hot but crazy windy. When working directly into the wind we were doing 10 second pulls then rotating and still only managing 25kph....It was a b!tch.

Having cold beers in the car for when we finished
Doing the 10KM climb up through Pretty River which now includes a few short gravel sections (road work) and setting a PR
Descending SR19 on perfect pavement for 5.3kms with a tail wind and also setting a PR (will need bigger gears to go any faster)
Having 2 other guys to help work that wind

That wind getting us from 3 sides
Hotter than we thought so had to stop at some stranger's house in the country to ask for water
