I dont understand Fords thinking, Focus Focus wagon sold well, there was tons of them out there and we still see them kicking around.
Absolutely, and that argument has been made on this thread on a number of occasions. Fordinsidenews CLAIMED the wagon was a go for NA, but that was a year ago, from an "inside source", and no confirmation or update since. In other words, a load of BS.
I think it's a slam-dunk business case, as the "one ford" strategy should enable very cost-effective Focus wagon production in NA. No need to certify any new powertrains. My guess is that Ford execs think Focus wagon buyers would migrate to either the Focus hatch, or the C-Max or the Escape if they really need more room, so not offering the wagon won't cost them many sales. I'd strongly consider the Focus hatch, but the wagon would be a no-brainer if offered. Especially in ST trim!

But honestly, just start with the base wagon, and see how sales go.
To be fair, Ford did listen to consumers and is going to offer the Focus Titanium with a stick. Maybe they'd listen about the wagon too? And if GM wants to beat them to the punch with the Cruze wagon, hallelujah. But I'm not holding my breath.
