This does not jibe with recent first attempt at this in Canada that had Audi very much in the forefront.
Based on my first 11K kms on their new quattro system/44% Rear Weight and instantaneously up to 100% RWD/new MMI user friendly
interface/ and no real quality issues, I think they've got nice packages. They certainly were first to
offer so much torque at so low rpms and this is what makes driving pleasure. The Japanese have been left behind on the torque front and that might start
impacting measurement of perceptions in my view.
And I'll state right now that Hyundai/Kia will achieve their goal of being in the top five.
