So it is that time of year again, the 2012 autoTRADER Buyer's Guide is out as of today (or Monday). It is a new car guide with 350+ new models currently on sale in Canada. It features full specs and write-ups on each vehicle. This year Jonathan and I got to spearhead the guide which was pretty cool.
Before you discount it because it comes from autoTRADER know this:
- Most specs are Jil McIntosh's from this site tirelessly scraped together by James
- Vehicle blurbs were completed by top Canadian journalists such as John LeBlanc, Peter Bleakney, Chris Chase and more
- Feature articles written by autos.ca own Paul Williams, Jil McIntosh, Greg Wilson, Peter Bleakney, James Bergeron, Michael Schlee and Jonathan Yarkony
- Other articles were written by Michael Bettencourt, John LeBlanc and Allan Britnell
- One of James' Day-By-Day Reviews is published in the magazine featuring a few user comments from this forum
Those attending the Toronto Autoshow can pick it up for free as part of the program guide (it is inside it). Those in the rest of Canada can buy it from your neighborhood magazine store. I do have a few copies I could mail out to some forum people if they can't make the autoshow....not many though.
