Timely discussion - I was just about to take people back to SATs and posit that Sonic is to Vega what Sonata is to Pony.

Not a good comparison though.  Vega was Motor Trend Car of the Year.  Pony?  Not so much....
How fast is my Supra?  I sh*t on Cessnas from a roll....

Option (B): Sonic is to Corvair what Sonata is to Pony.

Looks like the curb weight of the Sonic places it well into compact territory.  Wonder what the mileage would be like if it shed 50-100kg?

Did the Test Car come with Front Brake Pads? or where they not there, also I understand that there is no under coat Paint on these vehicles and that the Factory they are made in, the Workers are paid $14.00 per hour with no formal training.
also the Detroit Makers have not made a "small car"that turned out to be good value!

People will have to decide for themselves which is better Value buy a GM Small Car or stick to a true Korean of Japanese Vehicle, also the Korean Cars come with a long Warranty!

Did ya check to make sure the brake pads were installed before ya test drive it  :rofl2:

"GM is recalling 4,296 2012 Chevrolet Sonics because they may be missing a brake pad, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration".
I like manual transmissions better than automatics because I like to drive rather than be driven.
