Code 130R = RWD, 1.4L Turbo.  Baby Muscle cars in a sense.

Code is Orange
Tru is White
Sonic RS in the middle

That would be a killer little toy. They would take over the import market, turbo, rwd and cheap.....I could see this being the new 240sx/Toyota Corrola GT-S if GM does it right. I like all these rwd, turbo cars being introduced, Genesic Coupe, that Toyota/Subaru thing and now this....wooohooo. It had better not be an automatic only car..... :banghead:

Agreed with the Jalopnik take - I can't believe that GM is still going on with cars like this :banghead:

The 130R looks like a regurgitated Camaro with half the sheetmetal forgotten back at the smelter.

The 140S looks like a clear rip off of the 4th gen Eclipse.

That tiny 1.4l motor is a great engine but it needs 16 pounds of boost just to barely get where the competition is at with non-boosted 1.8 and 2.0 motors. Performance minded cars need more zap or at least the potential for more, not a lot of room left on that little engine.

I think GM needs to look at more mass market cars, say like a look at how they can improve the Cruze, and bring out a serious contender in the mid-size segment, not play with niche cars like these and others like the Orlando. They look cool on the lots and make for great advertising, but they won't sell 4000 copies a month.
Richard - that's my opinion and I stand by it.

If they make it cheap enough, engine swaps/mods arent that hard  ;D Looking like a downsized Camaro isnt such a bad thing, Camaros arent bad looking cars. Plus, Im all for manufacturers still making RWD cars that dont cost $80,000.
