Neil didn’t think he was a criminal. The family in the car he hit certainly does. What do you think?

I think it's :censor: unless "Neil" was exceeding the speed limit which is not mentioned so let's assume he was not.

Even with 1.0 in his system Neil is going to stop faster than some old timer so should old ppl with compromised reaction times be held more liable and younger ppl ???

Society has gone Taliban with this drinking and driving business.  They tolerate endless advertising of the stuff using the most deceiving images possible. Governments make a fortune from it's sale and then go ballistic on the enforcement side.

Neil was over the "limit".  But was he "impaired"  ???. Accident was what it was.  The parents of the other vehicle backed into on coming traffic and injured their own kids.  Suck it up!

haha   In the imaginary world of drinking and driving articles, 1.0 BAC could be possible.  Everything else todate has been.  :)
