shopping for winter tires for a 2011 Dodge Journey

shopping for winter tires for a 2011 dodge journey with 19" rims...  having a hard time finding winters!!

i'm thinking i could also p/u rims and rubber of a different size for this as well right???

19" winters will cost an arm and a leg and a kidney. Go downsize. You may very well come out ahead price wise even including the extra set of wheels, plus you'll save on mounting / balancing every year.

I put 17" winters on the GLK (which came shod in 20" all seasons).

 :iagree: Find what the el cheapo base model came with as far as tire size and get steel wheel and tires in that size or see what the tirerack.com has to say. 19" winters would be hugely expensive, also 2 sets of tires and rims make for easy 1/2 hour swaps in the garage as opposed to waiting for when the tireshop has an opening. Also, aluminum rims dont like salt....at all.

You can put 16" wheels/tires on all trim levels of Dodge Journeys. 16" tires + wheels will very likely cost you less than 19" tires only.
