A fantastic and entertaining read, I really enjoyed it!

I absolutely love both cars, just for very different reasons.  I'd give my left nut (ok, well maybe both) to own either one of these cars.   

The Aventador's looks are very in your face in a sexy stealth fighter type of way.  I've never seen one in person but I can only assume how great it's presence is on the street.  Looks wise, I would definitely take this over the LF-A.  But what I really love about the LF-A is how musical it sounds.......it's like car porn for the ears.  One of the best sounding production cars in the world. 

At the end of the day, both are amazing cars..........but my choice if given would be the Aventador.

Before reading the article, I was set to write it off as Rrocket forcing more Lexus propaganda down our throats here, to which I was all prepared to remind him that super cars at this level aren't about the raw numbers, but more the raw feeling they instil in their drivers -- and thus, the more passionate choice would be the Lambo.    But in reading the article, I see I'd really just need to drive each car (preferably on the same Southern France roads) before being able to make a proper determination of one's superiority.  Or to put it more succinctly, I would simply kill to get the keys to either of those awesome machines.

I was surprised at the LF-A winning the testers over so completely despite the lower power and RWD configuration.

I haven't seen an LF-A or Aventador in the tin, but every Lambo product I've groped has looked like a super-expensive kit car.  Interior panels and materials seemed junky and body panels felt thin, paint delicate and alignment of panels/etc was garbage.  Oh, I know, these cars are all about the performance, but c'mon, if I paid all that money for a car, it should at least be assembled with care and attention to detail.

The Lexus wins over the testers on how it drives and the engagement level, a bonus is the superb quality.

If you want another great article on the LF-A, Inside Line (Edmunds) took an LF-A on a long road trip (with vids).  Pretty much the same..the testers absolutely loved it.

you think LF-A will ever hit under 100k?

......  ......otherwise i would have to hit jackpot to be able to afford one..

....F360's are found under 100k, and also the gallardo's...  ..but LF-A's really limited production..  ..i really like that car..

Have you been up close and personal with some of the most recent Lambo offerings?  The two Gallardos I've been in have both looked and felt pretty well screwed together (with a lot of familiar Audi bits).
