Surprisingly I see them here and there, if you live in a rural area for sure they are still kicking around.

I also had a ride in one of those years ago. The driver lost control on an icy road and rolled it twice before we came to rest upside down in the ditch.

Now that was frightening.  ;)

While I was building a snowman out front a Buick Electra wagon rolled by. Don't see those every day either.

Gee, it's been a few years since I last saw one. As I recall it was being driven around Los Angeles. White Bronco, black driver and being watched by a news helicopter and a few police cars. ::)

Hehehehe.... throw some underinflated & bald Firestone tires on that thing and you've got a lawsuit!

Yeah it is the little Bronco II. Last year was 1989 IIRC.

I had the 85 model of the Bronco II, pciked it up at an auction with my dad when I was 17 for about $1k. It wasnt a bad little truck, reliable, great heater, didnt have enough power to hurt myself and learned a lot about working on cars because of it. Never understood the hate on for the little Bronco......now the Mustang II, that I could understand, but I really liked my little truck.

I had one years ago. Almost tipped over in wind. Scary vehicle to drive with any cross winds. 2.9L V6 has a reputation for a being a bit of a lemon. Ours knocked like crazy and drank coolant. Would not own another.

With such a short wheelbase I bet the Bronco II would spin like a top on icy roads.

Funny to hear stories about people rolling them.  The 1 guy I knew (years ago!) who had one, flipped his over too.

They certainly felt really tippy. The Lada Nivas I had were quite a similar vehicle size and functionality wise but didn't feel tippy at all.
