Ferguson, of Jensen Interceptor FF fame, built three of these to try and sell Ford on the idea of offering AWD on the Mustang.

Imagine an AWD Boss 302? That would have dominated road racing and rallying.

Ferguson offered 4WD conversions of quite a few British car back in the late 60s / early 70s. A saw a big, old Vauxhall fitted with it once.

A Boss 302 with AWD would be awesome, overnight the Mustang would become a world class asskicker.
