just saw the pic...  how fast was the dipsh1t travelling to have caused that much damage in what i presume residential area?

pic makes me even angrier.   sorry to see that, but at least nobody was hurt!

  Doug ya must be channeling and decoding my Saf Files....seek immediate help for an elective lasting more than 4 hours.... :stick:..

  Wifey is hesitant on the above PLAN ,and the dealer is trying to "guide" her into an immediate replacement,it's her car after all.I had her cancel the $500 cheque she wrote them when i was away golfing...the SHIP will Hit the Iceberg when the loaner Mazda 5 van she has been driving is taken back,when the Ins Cheque arrives.....she likes the "mini" Minivan :'( :-\ >:(......
  I've offered her My FABULOUS '97 RANGER...winter tyres and all..maybe i'll have to up the ante with DIAMONDS..or FAKE GOLD  ;D.

       Can't really seeing us going over $30K ALL IN....and I'll have to build a Hilterish Bunker under the new carport to prevent any Somali Pirates.terrorists or local teens pulling a re-peat !!!!
   Good time to do some car testing again....prolly in the Focus,Mazda SkyActive arena JUST FOR FUN...there is so much interesting stuff coming this Spring...we liked the Veloster and I'm sure i'll love the TURBO version... ;)

If she can make it to the spring and try the Veloster turbo that would be a good plan.  The Focus deserves a close look as well.

Oh my god Saf, I had no idea!..... I feel your pain, (but yours is much worse than mine); while loading the winter tires w/rims into the new Elantra on saturday, wifey forgot one between the carport wall and the car and when I suggested we move the car back in order to open the back door to put the other tire in the back seat. Well, crunch! Took out part of the bottom driver's side fender and bottom bumper. :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( I did not know it was there.
$1,000 bucks later...oh well there goes Cuba this winter. Can't wait for 2011 to end - The year of things conking out, being replaced or being damaged; let's see..

-New Car
-New Watertank
-New section of Roof
-New hometheater Subwoofer

Ta Canuck...thanks be to Detailer gods I didn't ORDER $219.99 worth of Waxing Taxing Glow in the DARK mothers balls stuff ..then i'd be WAXED SIX WAYS FROM SUNDAY..... ;D..My WAXYCHIATRIST sez I should buff daily and apply a mild sedative to the fiddly bits.....and inhale a modicum of brake dust to ease the pain.............. :spam:
