STI DCCD
« on: December 03, 2011, 02:08:19 pm »
I have been playing around with my DCCD over the past few weeks to better understand what the functionality is and what settings are are better suited for my driving style. I only wish the STi had a memmory setting for all these variables as I now have a routine when I get into the car to ensure it is set up proper for me.

After starting the engine:

1. Move the SI Drive setting to Sport #
2. Push VDC button in and activate green VDC symbol on my dash.
3. Move the DCCD selection to Auto -

The logic for the settings is best explained in the following images and text I found and the internet.

I also found this on YouTube if you have a short attention span and issues with reading  :P

Yes he does as he sets up rally cars.

I've never had the chance to really play around the system. I've heard though that it's hard to notice the changing in power from front to rear bias....what are you observations snowy?

I don't notice a power change but I feel that the car oversteers more and the turns better.
