Like electric vehicles I don't think it's a matter of if... but a matter of when. My guess is that we'll see an increasing mix of pure electric, gasoline hybrid, gasoline and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles driving around. The proportionality will probably depend on what, if any, breakthroughs are made in any of the technologies.
Interesting concepts... 700km sounds like decent enough range
