There was a silver 06 manual with 61k kms for $26k last week. Is that not rock bottom enough for you James?

Pictures are posted on the front page.  They only ended up showing renderings, but claim they are accurate.  Looks "robotic" to me, but probably due to being a rendering.  Will hold final judgement until I see photos.

Due to the delay, and these renderings, I think GM intervened and told them what could and couldn't be posted

Looks like it's styled Nissan GT-R-ish, with all the sharp edges.

There was infighting at GM about what the final design was going to look like.  Will be interesting to see which side got the win.

I find it so difficult to judge from illustrations.  Can't wait to see one.

IF..and a big IF this is the next Vette, do you think they stayed too conservative?  I was thinking the car may have more of a Euro-type design, as GM had been saying they want to compete with the Big Boys from Europe.  To me..this looks like a C6 with a  more radical body style.  But as you say, we'll have to see.

I'm quite certain the interior will be awesome, as it was one of the biggest complaints with the car.  An easy start would be stealing the Recaros from the CTS-V Coupe...Yummm!!!

I'm beginning to think this is not the C7 at all.....

I think Jalop is wrong. I mean, they're quoting a post on VW Vortex and proof this is real.

Interesting, though, that none of the other online blogs OR magazines have picked up this story......hmmmmm

I would hope so.  But that complaint has fallen on deaf ears for a looooooong time.

Looks like Jalop had it right....

Some guys I know have also confirmed that, indeed, Jalops original renderings are pretty close.

they almost look like TVR..  which is fine.  i like it.  i hope it doesn't "look" so big anymore.  i "know" intellectually that it is a small car, but C6 has always LOOKED so massive.

Yes, people always think it's huge until you point out (I think this is true) that it was actually shorter than the (last gen) 911.

An the new 911 is getting longer and fatter.

The C5 Vette always looked huge to me, but the C6 proportions are much more appealing I think.  Either way, if the illustrations from Jalopnik are to be believed, the C7 is going to be that much better still.

As much as I love the C6 Z-06 and think it's a serious contender for bang:buck winner, I think the not-as-handsome GT-R would win my money were I shopping in the $100K sports category.  It's just too good to be true.
