My son got me on to this, wish Fox would have kept it going.

Fantastic series, watch the movie "Serenity" as well.

BTW, Nathan Fillion played a great villain in Buffy the Vampire Slayer final season, obviously Joss Whedon liked working with him.

Berlin, 1941. Five friends eager to become heroes in an adventure that will change the face of Europe - and that will forever change them as well.

Stumbled upon this German mini-series on Netfilix and just finished watching it. I found it gripping and very well done drama. Recommended.

Loving the aerial footage of Seattle during The Killing...series is pretty good too. And it is a series – a homicide detective show where the cops have been trying to solve one murder for two seasons (equals 3-weeks in TV time).

The DVD boxed set has two of the 14 episodes that never aired.  Worth a look, IMHO.

Can't say I agree about the movie.  Found it rushed too much and glossed over many of the more intriguing sub-plots.  As an example, I point to Ron Glass' character, Shepard Book.

Anyone know where Suits is running the first three seasons?  Doesn't seem to be on Netflix, which puzzles me.

Be forewarned that the first season does not wrap up like you would expect it to. The Killing has been harshly criticized (justifiably) for its pacing and the fact that they implied that each case would be wrapped up in a single season but then they strayed from that. I found it kind of frustrating to watch, but I'll still check out season four at some point.

I actually heard about how long and slow it was so I was ready for it. Personally I didn't mind the pacing and enjoyed the focus on different people. I'm tired of shows where they solve everything in an hour and move on to the next case. I'm now done S2 and think the show is great.  Will wait a couple of weeks to start S3.

I was never a fan of The Sopranos, but found this essay interesting from the point of storytelling and the American psyche.

Did Tony die at the end of The Sopranos?

The Knick moves at a slow and steady pace and Clive Owen is sublime.  He's an underrated actor and this series shows off his skills.
