Hey Las - that colour almost matches your driveway.  :rofl2:

FYI burnouts always look better on the neighbours' driveways  ;)

nice wheels
my biggest concern would be just getting into and out of the car

I find the Prius a bit low, and the BMW really low ,
hoping the surgery has fix that, but a week later still not good
It's not as easy as getting in and out of the Tucson, but the shape of the door opening is well designed and I'm not having much trouble with my screwed up back. It's really low though, almost supercar low and it takes some getting used to after an SUV. They designed it very low with a class leading drag coefficient of .028 to further it's fuel frugality I guess.

Congratulations from a fellow MD Elantra owner: I own a 2011 GLS with the manual transmission (not available on the Limited  >:().  Whereas Im sure you'll be happy with the mileage coming from the Tucson, my previous car was a 2001 Civic DX 5spd, and the Elantra gives up a noticeable amount in terms of pep and fuel economy.  The gas tank is also undersized.  It does, however, feature far more creature comforts :)

Finally went on our first highway trip with the new '12 Elantra. Against the wind going down to Georgetown (northwest of Toronto) from Ottawa, averaged 7.0L per 100kms and then got 6.4L per 100kms on the way back using 3/4 of a $48 tankfull! Very happy with this considering I used to fill up with $75 bucks with the Tucson. Car was loaded with stuff equivalent to 4 passengers. With the six speed tranny, RPM was a low 2,300 at 120-125kmph.  Still loving this car.  Kudos to Hyundai :D
