Love that track!  Also love that car, oh to dream!  It's not a fast track though so that car would be seriously restrained on there.

I can't get over how violent it is when he mashes the gas pedal.  That would be a very fun ride.

Man, are the other cars on the track actually moving or are they parked??

I'd hope so. All those cars are everyday street cars.

Great video...wish it was done at the Ring. He looks tense and stiff at the wheel.

I saw three McLaren F1s at the Eurotunnel parking lot...something about yellow... ;)

What you won't find in my car is a coffee, cigarette and a cell phone. What you will find is a driver; imagine that, a driver in a vehicle. What an effing concept!

A car has to do more than just perform; it has to stir your soul!

A true driver's car does not have cup holders.

The physical track or the sound track?   :)

LOL at the video title.  It uses a BMW engine so it becomes a "BMW McLaren F1".  :rofl2:

There were three of them; the other two were red and silver. Then there were other nice toys parked there as well as an eight-time world motorcycle champion on his old Triumph..

Every time I take the Eurotunnel, there are big dollar cars lined up and some never before seen models. Proof there are no poor people in the UK.

The car I'd like to see in person and touch is a 1970 Porsche 917...still the greatest of the greats.

you guys know that gordon murray approached honda for his mclaren f1 engine first, right?  it was when mclaren was winning championships with honda supplied engines in f1.  ;D

apparently, honda couldn't be bothered to produce bespoke v10 or v12 with 550 hp or more for gordon, and guarantee reliability.   bmw stepped up and supplied 627hp (higher than requested) engine.

gordon admitted that he modelled the shifter feel and handling of his mclaren f1 after the honda nsx, whose aluminium double wishbone suspension was both revolutionary and provided good ride quality....     he personally had honda nsx for 7 years.

i know this is off-topic, and more related to that "hyundai, new honda?" thread, but.....    this is why i am not a fan of honda anymore...   without nsx and its "eternal sportmind", honda is just another automaker...  i would actually prefer chevy over honda, because chevy has corvette and camaro...  i'm sad now.

my apologies to OP..
