Good! Turns it into a little tractor even on the ice. Very enjoyable. Am wearing my motorcycle gear w/pads just in case, but so far so good.

How much were those studded winter bike tires?  My roommate said she paid something like $90 (each? for both?) last year - and already had to replace them with new winter tires this year!  Is that normal?  (She does bike everywhere though, even in -30, and obviously for her the extra traction is worth the cost - especially when you are only on 2 wheels...)

Makes the 7 years I got out of 4 Blizzaks (almost 40,000 km) seem like a deal for only $500!

99.50 each! So not cheap. Probably tripled the value of the bike.

But I really like to ride, and one broken collarbone was enough.

Seems odd they would wear out that fast, I had something similar in university and they lasted for years.

Seems stupid to put $200 in tires on my $139 Costco mountain bike, but I might try it.  I'm not the brightest bulb on the tree some days, so...
No place I'd rather be...

The rubber on my WS-60's is coming off at an alarming rate down here along the gold coast. I have to wash the car every two days to get the black off it. I bet these things won't make it another season, they were good up north but here in the sub tropics not good at all.  >:(

Fortunately/unfortunately, I've never run into the problem of excessive winter tire wear in frigid SK...
