That's interesting in light of the Ford Ranger decision. Maybe Ford'll be reconsidering.

Did you see Toyota's new Tacoma Baja Edition?  It's pretty boss.  At least a couple companies are keeping the mid size truck market alive.  Good on GM for coming back to the party.

How fast is my Supra?  I sh*t on Cessnas from a roll....

Always liked Tacos. Especially after one of my buddies bought one when we lived in Truck Country up in Northern Ontario. The narrow gauge and short wheel base made it extremely maneuverable in tight spots in the bush and on old washed out logging roads. At times he would get though spots where we would get hung up on our skid plates..... Only thing  in winter it looked kike it was getting humped by his sled.

If they keep using the I5 engine it will be D.O.A before it hits the dealership showroom.
I like manual transmissions better than automatics because I like to drive rather than be driven.

I guess GM forgot to note that the compact pickup market in North America is officially dead, or are they ignorant to their own sales figures? The "original" Canyon/Colorado was an unmitigated flop. Those 5 cylinder engines were downright awful.

Deeply discounted full size pickup's will continue to rule, perhaps GM will have better chances flogging these in other markets

I said it before in the Orlando review thread, GM can no longer afford to produce crap like this to niche markets.
Richard - that's my opinion and I stand by it.
