What, like a satellite phone and night vision goggles?
This area wasn't totally isolated. More like cottage country, where there are some properties and homes here and there. Had I been alone, I would have gone to one of those houses. I'd have been screwed with the towing charge, though. However, I have already upgraded my CAA to CAA Plus.
In truly isolated areas, I would never go on my own. We would likely carpool in several cars.
