Actually I have a 2009 Ridgeline with a Full size spare. It fits on the tray and slides in perfectly. You just have to reverse the centre "cup" that holds down the spare. One side says "spare" the other fullsize". I agree the ridgeline should have came with a fullsize, especially if you do any significant towing.

Why do Ford's climate control temperatures jump from 16 to 19 degrees. What if I like it at 18? Dumb.

Seriously?  3-degree jumps?  That would be dumb.

Interesting. I couldn't get a 245/65-17 (My stock size is a 245/60-18) to fit . Stock Honda steel wheel from a RT (17*7.5" IIRC)

They will fit. I personally have a matching 18" RTL alloy in there. If you search on ridgelineownersclub.com you will see many people install a fulllsize spare!

Almost forgot...I'm not sure if this qualifies as a design blunder but it sure annoys me. The memory seats for the ML requires you to push and hold! the button until the seat, mirrors, wheel etc have finished moving. If you take your finger off the button the adjustments all stop. Every other car I've had with this feature you just pushed the button and climbed in while the adjustments were happening. It's not a huge deal as my wife rarely drives the ML but it would be a major PITA if it was regularly a two driver vehicle.
What if you're 6' 2" and the wife is 5' 4"?  You accidentally press her memory setting and your spine and legs get compressed if it goes all the way towards their final positions with a single press.  If you have to continue pressing it whilst its moving to its memory-set positions it's your fault if you have to go to a doctor and/or change your pants and shirt size afterwards.   :D
Opinions are like noses; everyone has one.

Is yours a US spec RTL or a Canadian EX-L? I must have missed something.

TSX:
-Sunroof thing like 2hondas mentioned.
-It doesn't play MP3 CDs. ???
-AUX input angle is absurdly annoying to get to. Its under a cover for some reason too.
-The battery rundown protection doesn't seem to apply to the interior map lights. ::)

BMW:
-Really irritating beeper.
-There's no light to tell you cruise control is on.
-No way to activate manual mode without actually shifting. What if I want manual mode without changing gears?

Merc:
-iPod + AUX interface is in the glove box.
-Amount of glove box space when open is vastly more than amount of space when closed. So its hard to tell if stuff will actually fit when you close it.
-No way to "hurry" the voice prompt and just enter the next command. You have to wait for the stupid thing to finish talking.
-Absolutely refuses to transfer my cell phone contacts.
-Only the left side mirror auto dims. Not that I like auto dimming exterior mirrors, but what the heck?
-The mirrors heat up really slowly and don't get hot enough to really get rid of rain (the TSX and BMW get plenty warm and quickly to boot)
Everything in life is relative.

Same vehicle. But my mistake it is a Canadian EXL. I can take a picture tomorrow of the five spoke EXL wheel in the wheel well if you'd like but all stock tires fit in the tray.

I don't have a cruise control on light in my VW either.  I guess they assume I have total awareness of my car's settings.

Wut?  my rental ford increases temp by 0.5 C increment...  which model does 16 to 19 jump?

The 2011 Fusion Sport I'm driving for one. But it has bugged me in every one I've driven for the last few years. What is your rental? Are you sure it increments by 0.5 degrees between 16 and 19? They all do that beyond 19.

i specifically checked this one today on my rental 2011 ford focus titanium.   it goes 0.5c increment all the way.  However, if i turn the temp knob quickly, it jumps multiple degrees at once.   but just pushing buttons, or turn the knob slowly and it goes 0.5  up and down.

Driving thrills makes my wallet lighter.. and therefore makes me faster because i'm shedding weight... :D

That makes sense as it is Ford's newest model and one I haven't spent time with. Hopefully, it is the start of all Ford's working that way.
