Ford Fiesta ST

Take that Honda CR-Z and Hyundai Velostar?

177HP Ecoboost 3 door Fiesta sounds very intriguing.  It might make it to North America if it is produced.

Don't hate on me for wanting a five door but if this came in a five door it would be a strong contender. I want a fun second car that's kid friendly. The CR-Z is already out of the question and the Veloster well it's a stretch.

Still wanting an AWD 230hp Fiesta five door that undercuts the WRX by a whole bunch of dough (like $25K out the door) and makes the Civic Si a non-starter.
No place I'd rather be...

What about the Focus ST?

The way I see it the Fiesta ST is for those who want a small hot hatch with 3 doors and the Focus ST is for those who also want a smallish hot hatch but with the extra two doors. Slightly different products I realize but I see Ford as trying to accommodate as many as they can without incurring too many costs with extra models all over the place.

I love the concept. But (and it's a big but), this is probably going to cost ~$23k, no? Hyundai was selling base Genesis coupes for $19,995 not to long ago. It might not be quite as practical or well-equipped, but 200 RWHP and the Genesis' looks beat 177 FWHP any day, imho...

I think Ford is providing a true sports hot hatch car. But I don't like the front end though.

If the Fiesta ST is offered in North America, it will be 5 door only.

Canada's Worst Driver should have Ken Block and his Fiesta as guest host.

Assuming the ST is sold in North America, the Veloster Turbo will be out by then anyway.
